Every community has stories waiting to be shared, and I create spaces where people can gather, connect, and let those stories grow

Community Events

I offer workshops, speaking engagements, and creative programs in collaboration with local libraries, independent bookstores, and nonprofits. These events can take many forms—teen and middle-grade storytelling labs, creative writing or screenwriting workshops for adults, graphic-novel and visual storytelling sessions, author talks, or multi-week series tailored to a community’s specific goals.

Activities may include guided writing prompts, story-building exercises, character development games, or light creative add-ons like bookmark making or journal decorating. Each event is customized for the audience, offering a flexible and engaging way to bring storytelling to life.

If your community, organization, or space would like to host a workshop, speaking engagement, or design a creative experience, let’s connect and shape a writing experience that fits your community’s goals and imagination.

The Writing Community

Join a vibrant Meetup group of more than 500 writers across Boston, Cambridge, and MetroWest—a creative community where stories, ideas, and voices come alive. We gather for everything from in-person workshops and virtual writing sprints to cozy table reads and lively craft sessions.

You can bring a script, a short story, a poem, a novel chapter, or a scene from a play and hear it read aloud in different character voices; grab a coffee, a drink, or a bite and enjoy creative discourse; receive thoughtful feedback, or simply listen and learn. It’s a space to make writer friends, find accountability, trade inspiration, and build momentum on your projects. Even if you’re just looking for a supportive place to create, this community meets you exactly where you are—and helps you grow from there.
